Welcome

Like most people who are vaguely familiar with astrology, the only thing I knew was my sun sign. However, I always disagreed or was confused by the description of Aquarius. Sure, I can be rebellious, but I’m not obsessed with technology. I can move rather slow through life and my goals, and do not adapt to change quickly. In fact, introducing too much change will make me rather cranky. But when I found out I have a stellium in Capricorn and my rising sign is Taurus, it all made so much more sense. And the more I looked into this, the more I realized connections between the events in my life and how the stars were aligned. I saw synchronicities that affect us even today. So this blog serves to continue this exploration and share my discoveries.

Astrology is something that has been around for thousands of years, starting all the way from the Sumerians and Babylonians to the Ancient Greek, then the Roman Empire, to the Middle Ages. And now it’s a part of popular culture. Most people will know their sun sign, even if they do not know what it means. I believe we are all affected on some level by the planets in our solar system, especially the moon, even if we don’t realize it. I also believe that many websites who give visitors bite-sized information and quick horoscopes give an over-simplified and discouraging introduction into astrology. It wasn’t until I read more in-depth books and websites on the subject that I understood it more.

In this blog I’ll be looking at correlations between the stars and current events and past events. I’ll delve more into specifics of astrology, such as the what the planets and signs actually mean. Hopefully, this blog will provide information and resources to readers so they can also explore and come up with their own interpretations. You may even realize some epiphanies for situations in your life, both past and current.
